Data Deletion
This page explains how to erase the data held by Track Profit. The request is free and applies to any person or business with data in the system.
If you have a Track Profit account
- Write to contact@trackprofit.io with the subject "Delete my data", from the email registered on your account.
- We erase the account, connected stores, order and session history, credentials and platform access tokens, and confirm the deletion by email within 30 days.
- Records the law requires us to keep (for example, billing documents) are stored only for the legal period, apart from everything else.
If you connected Facebook or Google
- Facebook/Meta: remove Track Profit in Settings > Business integrations. That cuts access immediately. To also erase what was already imported (ad account spend and structure), make the email request above.
- Google: revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and, to erase the imported history, make the email request above.
If you bought from a store that uses Track Profit
Track Profit works on behalf of the store where you bought: the store decides about your order data. From your visit, the dashboard keeps a random session identifier, the pages viewed, the device type and the country — no name, no address, no card data. Ask the store for deletion; it forwards the request and we erase it. If you prefer, write to contact@trackprofit.io saying which store and which order, and we'll route it for you.
What we can't erase
Data that lives inside the platforms (Shopify, Meta, Google and the like) belongs to your account there: erasing it is up to the platform itself. Deletion here covers the copies held by Track Profit.
